More than a hotel
Hotel Lug is not just a place to sleep. Here you eat, celebrate, play and relax outdoors – from a morning coffee on the balcony to dinner in the wine cellar.
Laskó is the Hungarian name of Lug. In our restaurant, young chefs give traditional Baranja dishes a modern touch – while the portions stay Baranja-sized. Everything is home-made, from spätzle to dessert.
Behind the hotel building lies a garden with wooden gazebos under fruit trees, a corn barn hung with paprika, a children's playground, a tennis court and a paddock with horses.
The Paprika Hall seats up to 100 guests for a wedding and up to 120 in cinema seating. Smaller groups have the wine cellar, and in summer the garden and gazebos. Your guests can stay overnight in the hotel.
Lug (Hungarian: Laskó) is a paprika village with a rich tradition, where Croatian and Hungarian culture have intertwined for centuries – often called the unofficial capital of paprika. It lies on the edge of Kopački rit Nature Park, a fifteen-minute drive from Osijek.
„Doručak je bio obilan i ukusan. Svidjelo nam se i što je sve čisto i udobno. Odlično prilagođeno za obitelji s malom djecom i dvorištem sa sadržajima i konjićima. Ugođaj obiteljskog hotela i ljubazno osoblje.“
